About us

Nurturing Young Minds Since 2002

Our Story

Teeter Toddler opened in 2002 with a mission to provide an enriching educational & nurturing environment where children can flourish. We realize it’s a difficult task to leave your child in someone else’s hands; therefore, we strive to ensure that your child receives paramount care so that you can be worry-free.

Our vision

To provide quality care to children by:

  • Having highly qualified staff trained in early childhood development and Montessori education.
  • Continuously researching and implementing innovative educational activities to encourage personal growth and development.
  • Responsibly tending to the needs of each child to promote individualism and personalized care.

Along with caring for children, the quality of our staff and facility are our primary concerns. Proper and continual training, opportunity for growth and advancement, and an environment that fosters mutual respect with a willingness to “go the extra mile” makes the difference between a good facility and an outstanding child development center. Parents can request staff training records and/or any in house staff training curriculum used by our facility.

Our mission

To provide an environment in which each child can grow and develop intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically to their maximum potential. Emphasis is placed on a positive self-image and a strong academic foundation.

In recognition of the crucial importance of these early years, we strongly believe that the goal of every early childhood institution should be to provide paramount care and education. This is why Teeter Toddler strives to employ highly qualified teachers and assistants and utilize the Maria Montessori method of education and curriculum. Maria Montessori fosters independence and confidence in children while also preparing them for higher elementary education.

All five (5) of my children have attended Teeter Toddler, and I can’t say enough how much they are like family to my kids. My children still talk about how much fun it. All the kids were prepared for public school and I never worried about my kids when dropping off. They truly handled my kids with the care and love they show their own kids.I appreciated that the facility was clean, inviting and safe. I also loved that it was family owned and operated because it shows how much they value the family dynamics if they’re staff and families who attend. The director is always looking for new exciting ways for the children to learn. The new Montessori class rooms have been such a blessing, and they really teach them fundamentals but also life skills. My 3 year old loves Ms. Faiah and I have to say she does such a good job of communicating on how my daughter is catching onto concepts and where I can help her at home. We will all be super sad when it’s time for our last little one to leave Teeter Toddler. They have helped me raise my kids and their love is engraved in my children’s hearts!

I cannot rave enough about this facility or the amazing teachers that watch and care for our babies. This was my first time having a small baby in daycare and when I tell you after their first day (normal mom worries) I did not worry again. Very good at communicating with parents when anything is needed for their kids. Your children will be busy doing fun learning projects during the day and playing with their friends. Love it! The nursery teacher is about as sweet as they come and her love and care for children does not go unnoticed. We unfortunately moved to another city so we no longer have the honor of being here anymore but both Aidan and Jaxson miss this school dearly. Prices are amazing as well.. very reasonable. Kids always came home clean, fed, happy and excited to come back the next day. Thank y’all ❤️

My baby is the picky type but the exceptional services provided at this daycare has really help her grow . She loves her teacher Mrs Riffat in the infant room so much that she dislike saying bye when I go pick her up. They have a close bond that makes me feel good that my baby is in good hands.

My children have been attending Teeter Toddler for almost an entire year with zero complaints. Miss Farat in the nursery class is sweet and kind. My infant loves her and is always happy to see her. My toddler is excited about daycare and learning. I have seen my toddler’s imaginative, vocabulary, math and gross/fine motor skills develop. I am able to work in peace knowing that my children are well taken care of. Thank you ladies.

My child has been enrolled here since 3 months of age and is now in the toddler class. My child’s social, language, and emotional development has benefited greatly from attending Teeter Toddler Daycare. All of the staff are sweet, helpful, actively involved and responsive in their roles as teachers and caregivers. Ms. Riffat and Ms. Farah, the infant class teachers, are such loving caregivers. The administrative staff are proactive and responsive. I also love that this is a minority woman owned business readily available to support parents and children. Thank you for remaining open during the pandemic and for upholding all the safety precautions! I highly recommend this daycare, look no further, this is a hidden gem!

My daughter has been going to Teeter Toddler for a little over two years.I am extremely impressed with the progress she has made since she has been there. Her teacher Mrs. Hina has been very patient with her and is constantly finding ways to accommodate her learning style. She has shown a great deal of academic growth and social maturity. She is learning consonant and vowel sounds, onset and rime of words, word patterns, counting money, and counting up to 20. They even have a garden so that they can learn about nature and responsibility. In addition to that they have Show and Tell every Friday so that the students can learn to speak in front of others. I highly recommend this school.
